Duga;

Duga is a Swedish project dedicated to create music rooted in the traditional melodies of the Nordic countries, wrapped and supported by a heavy and dark accompaniment and soundscape.

The use of a broad selection of traditional instruments, non-traditional as well as modern electronics creates a broad soundscape with many possibilities. The melodic tradition of Scandinavia have always carried a functional purpose serving as music for dance, and ceremonies.

Used in times of celebration and joy as well as comfort during darker days. With years of studying the tradition, Duga combines their experiences with new tools and contemporary expressions to make the music timeless.
